Valentine’s Day 2024

We are proud that we have placed twenty-two pups over the past 36 months. As these pups age and grow we continue to interact with the families and provide advice and guidance in their journey to heal with their four-legged companions. The first of our of many pups, Nelly, is nearing his official completion to become our first Certified Therapy Dog. We are incredibly proud of Nelly and his owners and we can’t wait to follow their progress as they introduce Nelly to the world through his therapy visits.

Valentine’s Day felt like the perfect time to place a couple of adorable golden doodle pups with some special families to honor Macy. We look forward to placing the pups with families that have experienced a life changing event in their lives or continue to work their way through a difficult time in their lives. We want to thank Hermsmeyer’s Breeding for once again supporting Macy’s Way. We are so fortunate to be offering two pups and the placement families will be notified prior to Valentine’s Day to make arrangements.

As always we like to explain the pups names. As Mia, Macy’s 16-year old sister, told us, “How about Bambi and Thumper? I have a vivid memory of watching Bambi with Macy.”
